Legacy

The mission of the  Biology Teaching Laboratory is to awaken the curiosity and the involvement of the subjects, motivated by investigative strategies for teaching and learning of Sciences and Biology, as well as the diffusion and popularization of scientific knowledge. Our target audience are students of Early Childhood Education, Primary and Higher Education, as well as the community in general.

We believe that experimentation and the experience of nature promote the thrill of discovery and the enchantment of the phenomena of life and this creates the driving force for learning.

It is through this path, that of social inclusion and empowerment through scientific knowledge, that the Biology Teaching Laboratory aims to contribute to the formation of informed, conscious citizens capable of acting to improve the society in which they live.
